2001년 진동 칫솔 소닉 케어를 만든 과학자들이 피부와 모공을 깨끗이 케어하자는 미션으로 회사를 설립하게 되었고, 이후 2004년 소닉 음파 기술을 클렌징 기기에 접목 시킨 클라리소닉을 런칭하며 NO.1 미국 피부과 의사들이 추천하는 클렌징 기기로, 그리고 여러 할리우드 톱스타로부터 사랑을 받아왔다. 한국에는 2013년 6월 공식 런칭 하였다.
