보테가 베네타(Bottega Veneta)는 1966 이켈레 타데이(Michele Taddei)와 렌초 첸자로(Renzo zengiaro)가
이탈리아의 비첸자 지역에서 만든 패션 브랜드입니다. 보테가 베네타라는 브랜드명은 이탈리아어로 '베네토(Veneto)의 아틀리에'를 뜻합니다. 보테가 베네타는 장인이 수작업으로 만든 고품질의 가죽 제품을 통해 초기 인지도를 얻기 시작했으며 특히 가죽의 내구성을 높이기 위해 장인이 하나하나 손으로 엮어 만든 일명'인트레치아토'기법은 훗날 보테가 베네타의 상징적인 요소가 되었습니다.
